Cacao is the bean & Cocoa is made from it. Cacao is raw chocolate, an amazing superfood! It has a huge amount of antioxidants and contains lots of vitamins and minerals. Industrial processed and heat refined cocoa products – most of the chocolate candy bars that can be bought in stores – have low levels of cacao and little nutritional value. They often contain sugars, milk fat and artificial flavours.
